FONBackup is a multiplatform application that allows you to sync a folder from your computer with your gmail account.
The process will download all your Gspace files missing on your computer and upload all your local files missing in your Gspace account.
- INSTALLATION
No installation is required. Just extract the zip and double click the JAR file downloaded. The Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 1.4.1 or higher is required. You can download and install it here.
- USE
First create a Gmail account at gmail.com
Configure your Gmail account (as with Gspace), and select the local folder to sync. Click on the Start Sync button and wait for the process to be finished and your folder will be synched with your Gmail account.
FON Backup is compatible with Gspace. You can access your synched files in Gmail through Gspace firefox extension.

Only one folder for each Gmail account

Hidden files will be ignored

This app doesn't delete any file on your local computer or in Gspace

Backing up large directories may cause you to reach your Gmail transfer limit and you'll temporary be unable to send mail for 24H. See this document for more information
